Is Strontium cation seriously smaller than the anion of sulfur even though its at a distance away in the periodic table?

if this is true would Ba2+ be smaller than F- ?
 
I understand that... but I didn't realize the size difference would be that drastic... would it hold true for the compounds I listed? Ba2+ and F-?
