St. John Ambulance Volunteer = EMT?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
seems like you are Canada's version of the US EMT

Sounds similar to that of an EMT-Basic. However, jurisdictions and states can dictate more or fewer skills, as well as the Operational Medical Director (OMD). Many EMT's can administer Aspirin, Glucose, Nitro, EpiPen, CPAP, Albuterol/Atrovent, and obtain 12-leads.
