Have you tried contacting the school with these questions? I'm sure they've been asked by numerous vet students before you. I would be surprised if St. Matthews didn't have informed answers to all these questions, especially the financing question.

Thanks for replying and yes the school was my first email but they are not being very helpful with the private loan suppliers.

Do a search for st Matthews here. There are a couple of posters/students who were designated reps for the school and have lots of info and in the past at least were very responsive.
