What's the stafford loan limit for medical students? 45k annually?

Does previous undergrad loan matter? I have like 10k.

How can you NOT get a stafford loan? Is it only if you've defaulted on a previous loan and you're not a u.s. citizen?

Subsidized Stafford loans are based on need (i.e., numbers from the FAFSA). Unsubsidized ones aren't but you still need to file the FAFSA.

Grad Plus loans are by a perfunctory credit check.
