Hello All,
I'm thinking about having my PI with whom I've worked closely all year write a new LOR to send to some of the schools I'm waitlisted at. However, I was wondering what the standard procedure for this would be. Should I:
1) Give my PI my AMCAS ID and the admissions emails of the schools I'm WL at and have him send it to them directly?
2) Should I use Interfolio in some way (I'm afraid if I use this they won't see that there is a new letter)?
3) Should I directly submit it myself (some of the schools only accept correspondence through the portal)? I feel like this option is probably least advisable bc of FERPA/seeing the letter etc. and I don't know how I could upload the info to the portal without having access to it.
I'd appreciate any advice, esp. from people that have done this with success in the past. Thanks!
