I'm aware of a situation where a patient is being sexually harassed by doctors who sickly enjoy putting him on and then taking him off hormones so that he goes back and forth between looking like a man and then looking like a masculine woman. Not only does this embarrass the patient, but it causes his coworkers, students, and patients to become uncomfortable, resulting in him losing his jobs, having his privacy invaded as people wonder about his genitals (leaving him mortified and grieving), and having others distance themselves from him. These doctors are horrible, even faking prescriptions and lying about what they truly are, like estrogen mislabeled as testosterone, then acting like it's the patient's fault and pretending that the patient enjoys what they are doing, despite it ruining the patient's life, making the patient ineligible for medical school, and traumatizing the patient by turning all people away from him so he has to be alone every hour of every day, all weekends, all holidays... The patient is also stuck in his body that the doctors have destroyed; physical deformities are constant reminders of past events. Others tease him about his visible injuries, a sign of victory to the abusers. The patient feels he has no hope, and is just trying to survive but the emotional pain is extreme.

As a future doctor myself, I put myself in the place of other doctors this patient might go to to find help, away from the group which is tormenting him. It seems like the harassers are terrible bullies that will attack, with uncontrollable laughter, any other doctor who tries to help this patient. How do you stand up to peer pressure when groups want to pick on someone you want to support? What advice would you give this patient about how to escape a group of harassing doctors?

A) If this is true, why are you posting on a blog and not reporting it? B) Doctors Don’t actually handle the pill bottles, that’s the job of the pharmacy so any mislabeling is not the doctors fault C) That isn’t how hormone supplements work.... D) Why is this patient still seeing a doctor that they know (if you know, they know. And if they don’t know, why the hell haven’t you told them?!) is doing them harm? E) Why is this patient continuing to take medication that makes their problem worse rather than better?

My advice would be this; go to another damn group of doctors! Like...that isn’t that hard? You say “Hey, I don’t like you. I am going to go to this other practice.” Boom, problem solved. This isn’t “peer pressure” this is an example of an illegal and morally reprehensible act. To have any feeling of “peer pressure” and not just pure disgust and reporting to the proper chain is simply outrageous and you should genuinely question your own morals if you even have to consider what to do. As “a future doctor” please prevent these other physicians from practicing and direct the patient towards a known LGBTQA+ supporting practice, as they are plentiful.

How do you know that the physicians have been switching labels on this patients medication Are the pharmacists in cahoots too? The best choice for this if it is true is to report to POLICE, report to medical board, report to physician employer, and the patient should find a new doctors.

If your doctor has suggested seeing a psychiatrist I would do that tho. Because the idea that a bunch of doctors are colluding to make a patients life miserable for fun seems highly unlikely.

The story is weird and you seem to know too much about what the physicians/ pharm is doing to the medications as well as seem to know the patient to an advanced level unless you are exaggerating the scenario a tad.
