Research activity 1 was entered May 2017 thru April 2018 600 hours
Research Activity 2 was entered May 2017 thru April 2019 1200 Hours

the correct entries are

Research activity 1 May 2016 thru April 2017 600 Hours
Research Activity 2 May 2017 thru April 2019 1200 hours

The number of hours are correct.

I identified the mistake little late as most of the schools have already got my application. I have submitted my secondaries to many colleges already. Do I need to update each college on its secondary about the correct dates.

I have LORs from each of the activity related professors. Those also have been submitted to the schools.

Thanks

This will likely not be detrimental. You can't really change it now, the hours are the same too. If/when you get an interview and if it is brought up about "tell us about research activity one that you did in 2016" just play plausible deniability: "Oh, I apologize for that mistake, it should have been from 2017 to 2018. However on that research activity I did XYZ...." It is such a small issue that if you just pretend you didn't know until then (as it is a simple and honest mistake) then they will more than likely brush it off just like you are going to.

Upload document option is available on most secondary urls. Should I go in there and add a document. Saying it as a correction.

No. Like I said, this is a very small typo type of thing. Just pretend it isn't there and if it is brought up in context, then correct in the moment and don't obsess over it. Yes, integrity is a core value to be expected out of a physician - however, in this case the effort to correct the mistake is more likely detrimental than benefiting.

THIS EXACT THING JUST HAPPENED TO ME and im freaking out lol. what did you end up doing?? did it go ok??
