start date of med schools

When do classes begin for first year medical students? Please be as specific as possible. I am wondering because I may have to take a class to graduate the summer before I enter medical school (if I get in this cycle). So if that class during the summer conflicts with the start date, then I may be in trouble.

Usually early August. Our class was August 7th.
