When are most of you starting on Monday June 30th or Tuesday July 1st?

Contract says July 1st. That's pretty consistent amongst programs. Last year July 1 was a Sunday, and 'terns at my program stated on a Sunday.

I'd be surprised to hear of anyone starting clinical duties in June.

Mayo starts on Saturday June 28. We started last year on the 30th June.

we start today! ...but its orientation stuff....they said we will be paid for this but don't receive our first pay check until mid july -- don't really know if that means we aren't getting paid or that first paycheck will be double. we don't start playing doctor until the first.

We're orienting this week and beginning 6/24. It's a pretty busy week with ACLS/PALS/NALS and all the orientation business.
