Can anyone tell me which programs allow you to start a child psyc fellowship in your fourth year of a general psyc residency? My home program doesn't allow it or at least doesn't advertise it. I assume that this decreases the total time from six to five years doesn't it? Thanks,

Pretty much any residency that HAS a child fellowship will allow you to start it in your 4th year. Other programs may do so as well, but you'd probably have to ask them individually. In general the latter programs aren't very keen on this idea, as they basically lose a 4th year resident.

Great, thanks! So does it cut it down to five years then?
