Hey everybody!
So I am just starting this long journey to get into dental school. I will start my 3rd semester of college, after a 2 year break because of a Church service mission in Brazil. Anyways I will begin to take the basic science classes towards my major. The other 2 semesters I studied nothing towards my actually major, only GEs. So I am starting from the very very bottom of the trail.

So my question is this and sorry if its broad,
What is the best way to prepare myself for the DAT and to get into Dental school?
For examples books I can already start studying, dat material, etc.

I want to prepare myself the best of my ability starting now.

Thank you so much in advance for the help.

Thanks!
I also have another question. I am studying at BYU Hawaii, Brigham Young University - Hawaii. And it is a tiny university. It is very different in many ways. I was wondering if this could make it harder to get recognized by dental schools or maybe it would look unique?
I was thinking of transferring to BYU which has great science programs and the students there have excellent acceptance rates getting into dental school.

Either is fine, GPA is most important.

That being said, BYU probably has more opportunities (research, pre-dental club, outreach, etc.) available due the size of the school, choice is yours.

Thank you so much sjv for you help

Yeah, I've always had the impression that any undergrad school is fine, just go for all A's !
