Starting my Sub-I.... Some advice needed

Hey guys,

I am starting my sub-I at a hospital I want to eventually match into... but I havent had much experience with admission notes.... does any know any good sources/mnemonics that interns or sub-Is for admissions? Or does anyone know any good sources I should read before starting my sub-I so i can look like a star?

any info/advice would be appreciated! thanks!

go to order sets, general admission, fill in all the blanks and you're done

Talk to residents/attendings/fourth year students to get specific advice from them too. It takes more than notes and orders to do well on a subI. Good luck!

I've seen people use this mnemonic as ADV VANDISMAL and it drives me nuts because vandalism is an anagram of vandismal and has the added benefit of, ya know, being a real word.
