Ok so Im starting me pre-pharm. classes in the spring after I take this math class over the summer. Does anyone have any tips or anything? What are the best electives to take for pharmacy schools? What classes are easier over the summer since its a shorter semester? How many classes should I take if I also want to work part-time? I wanted to atleast start gen. chem and bio in the fall with some other courses. Thanks.

Take O Chem or Calculus over the summer, I really liked the quick O Chem format but realize it's not easy. Take upper division science classes or a foreign language as electives. If you want to work part time, just create a schedule that allows you to do that (i.e. one class right after another.) I've found it very possible to take 16 credits+part time tech+ EC's. It's all about how much extra time you need. 😎

try to take some GEs that will cover your pre-reqs and GEs required to graduate. Depending on which schools you apply to, they may require classes like communication which I know at my school will knock out one of my undergrad GE and a pre-req. Try to overlap classes as much as you can with your major/pre-pharm reqs. It'll save you time, money, and you'll be less stressed about finishing.

If your asking me I would not take the ochem or chem during summer, specially if I had to work, the reason for that is because it goes by so fast and you don't have time to clarify the areas that you didn't understand with your teacher and that would have not a good effect on your grade, you would have something due everyday, either a quizz, test, or a lab reprot, and not time to understand the parts that you didn't understand.
I would take some easy courses during summer, and won't take more than 3-6 credits specially if I have to work, and during fall and spring if you have to work do not take more than 12 credit hours, specifically if your taking hard classes and working.
and bout easy courses, aks of people that you know in your college or university who took the elective courses before, because some courses can be easy in one collge and hard in somewhere else, but usually jazz history, world religion and intor to theater are not that hard.
KEEP YOUR GRADES GOOD, since thats the most important thing to get into pharmacy school, Good luck to you😉
