Hey Everyone,
So I read on some of the other threads that many people are starting to get interview invites from schools like Columbia and NYU and I'm starting to freak out because I haven't gotten any. Yes, I know, I know, it's still early and there's still plenty of time left, that's why I haven't gotten any anxiety attacks yet lol.

I submitted my AADSAS on 6/27 and it got mailed out 7/6/2012 (Second batch). However, my Letters of Recommendation didn't get mailed out until 8/3/2012 because it was a committee letter and my predental advisors were pretty slow. Does this mean that I'm not actually considered 2nd batch, but I'm actually like.. 6th or 7th?

My oGPA was 3.72, sGPA 3.64, DAT AA25, PAT20, TS26. Did they just forget about me? 🙁

I'm getting a tad nervous as well.

We're really unlucky this cycle because www.predents.com is down (is it ever going back up?). It's a lot harder to get info on when and how schools give interview invites.

If anyone would like to chime in on when schools gave interview invites last cycle, that would be greatly appreciated.

My app was complete around a little later than yours, also because of the committee letter. A few schools, like Columbia, look at your app even without the lor's. Most don't and most definitely won't offer an interview, so for those schools its possible you are sixth/seventh batch (same here).

With stats like those I wouldn't sweat it. I'm sure you'll get an interview from Columbia later.

For NYU, I haven't gotten an interview invite yet either but I think they're just really slow and overwhelmed with the number of applications.

you need to get out more. you'll be just fine.

+1, you're in the >99th percentile for your AA/TS scores and your GPA is above average for most schools. They didn't forget about you, just be patient.

Where have you applied? I really hope that you get in especially with those stats

Just be patient once you submitted your secondaries and fees, there's really nothing else you can do. Don't freak out, with your numbers you should get interviews easily. I was surprised to get interviews with my numbers, which are much lower than yours.

I really don't think you should worry! My pre-health advisor says that AdComs won't invite you for an interview until they have EVERYTHING. So your committee letter probably held up the show.
