My state's psychological association seems to put an inordinate amount of time and resources into advocating for the practice scope of masters level clincians. I suppose they view this as increasing access and doing what best for patients, but I cannt help be irritated by some of this, as I do not percive them to be trying to protect my degree's scope of practice from...... anyone.
Frankly, I do not view masters level folks as "psychologists" and was just wondering to what degree other state boards of psychology focus on their states masters level clincians?
