Because there aren't enough neurotic threads already, I'm starting a new one. I put together my list of schools fairly quickly, and didn't do much background research. Actually, I didn't do any on about half the schools I applied to, I just picked all the cheap schools within a certain geographical radius. So I ended up applying to Drexel and then finding out it's an osteopathic program, plus I applied to two state schools which don't accept many out of state applicants (University of Mary and Chapel Hill). I'm considering adding a couple of schools to my list or just going with the ones I have since my best shots are going to be the in state schools whatever I do.
I think that I will go ahead and apply to Emory, since the only reason I didn't apply was that I wanted to keep the list down to ten.
My Schools: (I live in Virginia)
University of Virginia
EVMS
VCU
Dartmouth
Johns Hopkins
University of Maryland
University of North Carolina
Penn State
Case Western
Drexel (won't fill out secondary)
