I am in the midst of submitting my request for release from active duty and seeking guidance on this attachment entitled "reasons for request..."
Is this like every other point paper, statement, etc. in the Navy in that it is not actually read or should I spend time on it and provide constructive feedback for change?
Also, if I flat out state some of the situations I have encountered that are fueling my request to leave will they be investigated? I don't want any IG knocking on my door when I'm in residency- just want to be left alone.
Thanks.
