Statement of purpose/ personal statment formatting question

Hi all,

Can anyone advise me on whether statement of purposes/personal statements should be single or double-spaced? I have to mail in my SOP and there are no specific directions for formatting.

It doesn't matter. Make sure it's legible and professional-looking. If you have more than a single page, put your name and page numbers in a header and paper-clip them together.
