I don't know if this the case for all states; but from my very little experience I've found that progressiveness can vary greatly in states/cities; at least when it comes to institutions/hospitals specifically. In my city 1 hospital is extremely progressive in terms of amcare and patient medication management, as well as collaborative practice agreements vs another hospital where the pharmacists don't even manage anticoagulation and their transplant pharmacist didn't dose the immunosuppressants, a NP did. (I'm currently based in TN by the way!)
