statistics class--advices needed

Hey guys, this is my first time posting and i'm glad i found this site! I was wondering if anyone know any statistics class that i can take online to satisfy the pre-req course required for pharmacy school? I am currently taking one right now but it's too hard for me (most ppl in my class are engineers and we need to do multivariable integration etc..) so my grade in that class right now is barely a C. I'm worry i might not be able to pass it. So i'm thinking about dropping it and taking it online instead. Do you think this is a good idea or should I stick with it and hope that i'll make it.

When u have interview later, the only thing u wil do is, just excuse!!!

I normally recommend against Ws but I'm making an exception in your case. Multivariable integration? That was not in my stats class. If they ask you about it, just mention that part and you should be fine.

As long as you don't have a lot of other Ws on your transcript, I would drop the class. In fact it would be the smart thing to do to save your GPA from a bad grade. For online classes, look at the community colleges in your area or even in your state.

I remember multivariable integration was just 2nd semester of freshmen calculus. Is that different in your school?

But I agree with others, if this is your only W, take it. Don't blow your GPA. But I wouldn't take an on-line course, rather go with a non-math/engineering major statistics.

In reality, you won't do calculus in pharmacy school, but being good at complex math and derivations really helps in P2 pharmacokinetics.

the only problem is if go for the W, then i'll have to retake it since it is required. I'm graduating this may and already had plans for the summer that does not include taking classes. That's why i was hoping that there's an online class that i can take.,like right now..and have it over with by the end of this year. is there???

Statistics is already hard enough in class, it'll be even harder online because you don't get any hand-on help and real life explanation from the professor. You'll be studying all those complicated concepts and formulas own your own. Anyways, isn't it too late to register for classes now? It's like 2 months into the semester already.

I mean one of those summer classes that's like one month that i can take right now instead of during the summer since it's online so it won't make any difference when i take it. I don't know, i'm hoping they have a class like that..

ummm couldnt u just take stats for business students? they got be easier that engineerin stats
