Another question from me. Some of the schools I was looking to apply to have a stats class as a pre-req. I've taken an intro to stats class (100 level) but I was wondering if these schools accept that or they want like a regular stats class? Maybe some of the people who have been accepted to the schools that require stats can help me out.

Dont know about Intro To Stat, but I took "applied biostatistics" and haven't had a problem using it as a pre-req. Best thing to do is call the schools and ask!

Think you're gonna have to call and ask about that one. I know a business statistics class works but not sure about an intro statistics class.

I took biometrics (stat for bio majors) but it was a 300 level so i guess that doesnt help you

What about elem. stats? would that be the same, as know a lot of schools offer that.

the requirement from my school is biostatistics. i know business stats can get waved as an equivalent, but im not too sure about intro to stats/elem. stats. best thing to do is check with your school of choice or student adviser.

I'm taking an intro level stats class now (Elem. Stats for Biologists) and all the schools I applied to accepted it no problem. They never clarify what kind of stats on the website, but if you really want to be safe, give them a call.

I am taking an online Intro to Stats course and all of my schools that require stats are taking it no problem. I applied to: Tufts, NCSU, UFl, Cornell, UCDavis, CSU, and Upenn. I don't remember which ones needed stats but like I said, those that do are accepting it.
I emailed all of them with a copy of the course description to make sure before hand.

I'll definitely email the schools I'm looking into applying to but judging from what you guys have mentioned I'm hoping it won't be a problem. Again thank you guys for always being so helpful 😀
