I'm running a multiple regression on a data set, and I am really confused about a few things. I'm a post-BA RA, and I have a meeting with my PI about my senior thesis on Friday, and this is like my last opportunity to get something worthy out of my data.

Is there anyone that might be willing to PM me and look at my data---I have like 2-3 questions, and I don't want to look like a fool!

I have Paypal---I'd be happy to send you a Thank You Gift for an hour of your time.

Building on JS's suggestion, I've found that fellow grad students in the stats department can be infinitely helpful. My university, for example, actually requires stats master's students to conduct a few hour-long sessions of consultation with someone outside their department. Thus, they're all very interested in meeting with people to help work through in-depth, higher-level analyses.

Nope, nobody helped me. Yes, my stats department will help me, but I need to set up a meeting, and the next one is after my last-minute meeting with my mentor. I take last priority because I already graduated. Oh well.

If you let us know what the problems are we may be able to help on the thread, which may also be useful for others.

I just finished my dissertation using MR among other things. I'd be happy to offer some ideas.

Ahh, multicollinearity and homoscedasticity...

I get all warm and fuzzy inside just remembering those terms (I still can't pronounce the second one correctly).

I'm using MR in my thesis, too 😀 I have to figure out how to write up regression results.
