stats prereq class

Some of the pharmacy school's prereq classes includes statistics. I was wondering if it matters if i take econ stats or bio stats or do they mean stats in the math department?

Stats in the math department. Some schools have requirements of topics that must be covered in class. I would check the website out of the school(s) that you are interested in and/or speak to an admissions counselor, just to make sure.

this is especially bad for me...i'm taking stat through the psych department. However i found a post, can't remember a guy saying he applied to a few schools and they had no problem accepting psych stats.

I took biometrics/biostatistics and all the schools I applied to that required stats took my class. But I emailed them all first along with a copy of the course description and asked them would they accept this course as my stat prereq. and they all said yes. So contact them and see what they say.

I think most schools require the most basic stats, I would say biostats would be more on par with pharmacy school than psych stats if you had to choose between the two.
