Status page wrong at Buffalo?

Ok. So I sent Buffalo my lors twice. They finally received them Oct 13th and my status page was updated to complete. I called them today because my status says no action. They then tell me I wasn't complete until Nov 5?!!! I'm in a pile to be reveiwed Dec 20. The lady said I'm in the pile that's being reviwed first...what does that even mean? Seeing as how they interview so few OOS people, I figure I'm screwed at this point for that school 😡 . I'm on a roll here, what with being screwed at NYU and now Buffalo.

The no action won't change until after you already went for the interview. They do a review once a month in the middle of the month to figure out who will be interviewed from what they told me. Also, they do interviews for several more months, and of the 25-30 or so people on the day I went, A LOT were OOS. Odds are the OOS people are just less likely to want upstate NY....

Thanks, that alleviates some of my worry. Waiting to hear from 12 schools is making me a bit crazy.

On a related note, how about downstate, how often do they meet to decide on interviews?

Does anyone have any idea how many of UB Medical School's classes come from the wait list? I interviewed fairly early and was wait-listed. (Pretty unhappy about this, I have numerous reasons for why its my #1).

Send them a letter of intent that expresses your continued interest.😀

Also, has anyone been rejected from SUNY Buffalo yet?
