After some thought, I have to rescind this post. I did not agree with the deletion of my post, but perhaps there were some things I said in it that I cannot prove. That does not mean they were not true, just that I may not be able to prove them right now.
No offense taken shinken. I know 50% on craplan is not a passing score, but it indicates where I stand right now. With 4th and 5th semester to go, it is a good indication of where I am heading. In fact, it is a much better indicator of where I am heading than my class scores. Time and time again I hear of students doing well in their SMU classes, and then they get creamed by craplan and the steps. They are making a lot of A'a and B's from what I have heard, and then the craplan scores come out, and they are horrible. Then they finish the 6 wk craplan course, take the final craplan test, and still get a horrilbe score. I have heard some of the SMU students in Miami got even worse socres on the second craplan test than the first craplan test. Yet, they passed the classes to get into semester 5. I do not post my goal, my progress and my scores for my sake. I have been posting publically every since I started this carib med school thing for one reason and one reason only: for the sake of prospective students considering the carib med school route. I want them to be able to track a real person's history from start to finish. I do not and will never post anonymously; I want them to know exactly who I am. This way they can track me down for help at any time. I will post throughout my medical career, here for a while, and then on my own carib med school site, where I and everyone else will truly be FREE to express their opinions and experiences with carib med schools. Best wishes!
Have you attended a US school? How do you know the admin is better? If I am the bad student, then you should have no problem outscoring me on step 1, 2 or 3. I say you can NOT. In fact, I say I will outscore every student from SMU on step 1, 2 and 3. I am going to post my scores after this summer. I did not fail my classes in semesters 1, 2 and 3. I withdrew from path and pharm, passed pd 4, and failed genetics during 4th semester in Maine. I am glad to be gone with SMU. Show me the results for SMU step 1 students, and then I will believe it. Oh that's right, they don't show their results do they? That is a violation of privacy. Yeah right, my ass. Why don't they post their residency postiions clearly? Because their residency placements suck. See you at step 1. I said I will outscore you, and I will outscore you. That is dominance. I tell you I am going to do it, and then I do it without you being able to stop me. You are going to be discredited after the step 1 scores come out. I will prove my scores.
Clearly you can not count. I went to SMU, and now I am going to a better school, Sint Eustatius.
I failed genetics in 4th semester, and that is all. I will outscore you on step 1!!!
