USMLE Step 1 228 IMG 2018 match

Hey everyone!

I'm an IMG and recently scored a 228 in step 1. Hoping to do cardiology or pediatrics. I don't know many people in my college who have sat step 1 so I'm quite unsure of where my score leaves me with regards to my chances of matching( in 2018) and pursuing these specialities. Any advice much appreciated!

Google "NBME Charting Outcomes". It will give you a list of the average step 1 score for different specialties.

Definitely. However, the NRMP publishes "charting outcomes" every 3 years I believe.
