step 1 break time

so i know we get 45 minutes.. do we only get the 15 minutes from the tutorial if we completely skip the tutorial?

what if i run thru the tutorial in like 5 minutes, does that mean i get 10 minutes of extra break? or do i compeltely lose that 15 minute

Don't know, but I intend to watch two episodes of Bob's Burgers while eating a burger. Pretty sure you lose the time though.

You get whatever is left over when you finish the tutorial. If you still have 10 mins remaining for the tutorial you get 10 mins of extra break time. If you have 5 mins remaining, you get 5 extra mins, etc.

Probably time shaving by the testing center. Probably figure if they can get you out 15 min earlier they make more money/ close up earlier/ whatever

No, that's only the case if you choose to look at it from that perspective. In reality, you get 45 minutes of break time. Every time you finish a section early (tutorial included), the extra time remaining in that section is added to your break time.

There is a landing screen that keeps time and where you are in the test. You hit either start next block or take a break. No taking breaks during a block

When a section ends, it automatically goes to break time (which starts ticking away). You can either go take a break, or you can go straight into the next section.

i took NBMEs at 2 different sites. at one site i could go to my car outside and do whatever. at the other site, i couldnt leave the testing center.
