Step 1 Dates

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You won't be able to see the dates until you register through the nbme, recieve your orange ticket in the mail and then contact individual prometric testing services (all doable online) to see when they are offering it. It is much more flexible then the COMLEX (no "P" in it) and is available most days of the week. The only problem is that certain popular testing centers may have the "Prime" dates fill up. Another thing...you can't set your date until 6 months before the test date (which is coming up soon for us since our schools rotations start June 11).

Hope that helps

I just checked out the NBOME website but couldnt figure out how to register. I know its early but I just wanted to know what hoops I have to jump through just to be able just to register. It said something about a NBOME # What is that?
Also, what all do I need to register for USMLE?
