Has anyone used 'USMLE Step 1 Made Ridiculously Simple' (by Andreas Carl). This is not to be confused with 'Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple'. If so, any thoughts on the book? Does it give enough info that I may not need to read the big Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple? Looks more like First Aid in that it mainly has quick notes instead of explanations about all subjects. Anyone find this helpful?

I have the 2004 edition ( not sure if that is the most current) and it is a cursory overview. Certainly not comprehensive. It could probably be used after exhausting other resources - FA, RR, BRS & UW
