My school's weird in that we don't really have a dedicated study period. We just sort of have a lighter 3 months leading up to it, so I'd say 70-80% of that time can be spent studying for boards. And technically, we get 2 weeks between school ending and rotations starting. That said, I can use my first rotation slot as an optional study month to use as dedicated. All of the upperclassmen I've spoken to did decent on Step 1 (230+) , which is what I'm also shooting for, and they didn't use a study month.
If you were me, would you use the study month or trust that you'll be prepared enough when school ends?
