Yeah, internal medicine is not really that competitive to get into- as a US grad you should be pretty set assuming that you haven't failed step 1. Now if you're looking at a top program like hopkins in baltimore or UCSF in cali you want at least a 240 step 1 plus a bunch of other pluses to have much of a shot.
