Dose anyone know if outside study materials can be used as tax write offs?

Not that I have a lot of income that can be taxed, but I figure any little bit that I can save would help me from drowning in debt.

Uhhh for vast majority of med students, doesn't make sense to itemize your deductions because the standard deduction will be more than that and you should take the one that's higher.

Pretty sure you can use an online filing service for free too if you have simple income without investment or business income.

Even if you have reason to itemize your deductions, you cannot deduct med school study materials.
