The school of interest (NYU) has a new curriculum, and I'm just not sure.
What are the Pros and Cons to having students take their Step 1 in the middle of the 3rd year?
So for the first 1.5 years it will be pre-clinical stuff, and then M2 Spring and M3 Fall terms will be clinical. Have this curriculum proven to be successful in increasing the Step 1 scores? (I heard UPenn and Stanford use this system.)
