This is my strategy anyways, feel free to critique.

What is your target score? How much time do you have to prepare?
I too would be very interested in knowing the answer to this question. I think I'm using most of the materials you have outlined, hyper.
In my case target score is 240 or more (is that a 99?). I will have about 6 weeks. Is this achievable? Reading many of the posts here with peoples' scores it seems that it can be done, and I really hope so.

Depends what you mean by achievable. Some people are going to get that score. But many who put in 6 hard weeks won't.
Well what I mean is what do you guys suggest in terms of what to do to achieve this score? More pratice questions? Just working harder/longer?
Thanks for help.
I hate when people give me this answer but I think it probably rings true: "Working hard in years 1 and 2 is the best thing to do"
Assuming you've done that, then yes, doing a ton of practice questions, working hard, working long hours (within reason...pulling constant all-nighters isn't going to magically boost your score), etc... etc... are all good ways to inch closer to your target score.
But there's no surefire way of achieving it.
What would you all suggest to use as test preparation materials for USMLE step 1?
I would suggest doing the legwork yourself and finding the dozens, if not hundreds, of posters' Step 1 materials/recommendations on various threads. Good luck.
Check out the stickies at the top of the page.
Or the recommended review book section in First Aid.
For Step 1 prep I've found GunnerTraining to be very helpful. Their system of test prep quizzes you on the material you are weak at. It keeps track of how well you know something and will quiz you, again, on the material you don't remember quite as well. Good at helping to focus your studying. It's a little newer but so was First Aid once upon a time. A lot of third-years really recommend it at my school.
Right now they have a deal where I can email you a link for a free 1 month subscription.
No, I'm not associated with GunnerTraining, except that I'm using it and believe in it. The free month is totally risk free. Anyway, if this helps anyone then great. Email me at [email protected] and I'll get you the link.
Good luck studying!
