Where does everyone plan to study for Step 1?

School? Home? Library? Borders?

My concentration level is no where near where it needs to be. I've always studied at school but lately it's become social-hour filled with conversations about anything BUT school/boards.

In the last 5-6 weeks (i.e. cram-fest session) I may end up hacking it out at home, with ear plugs on and a nice hot cup of French Vanilla coffee...

Our school has a "board review section" so I've been going to the first couple days of class since it was Pharm and I am horrid at Pharm. Once we're done with Pharm tomorrow I will pretty much be studying at B&N or Borders during the day and home at night.

At home in my livingroom, at my desk. 🙂

I have all my books on the floor and a bookshelf right by my side and I can just put in the earplug, turn on the sound machine and there we go!

Plan: wake up early, go to coffee shop (they're so quiet on weekdays during the morning/afternoon), then eat dinner with someone not in medical school to keep me sane, then come home at night and study for a few hours at home.

I have to change it up a little and get out of my apartment once a day, no matter what, or else I just get burned out. Breaking up the day into 6 hour chunks helps some people, ruins the flow of others...

the drawback of my plan: im going to have to start sneaking in some homemade sandwiches or else I wont be able to afford to celebrate afterwards!!
