What kind of score is needed to be competitive for anesthesiology? Is >220 considered alright? Thanks for the help!

The higher the better. 220 with a really good CV and interview might get you a spot, although not at the big programs. If you are really lucky, some of your peers will grow an IQ and avoid anesthesia.

Average score of matched applicants is around 225.

Many good programs do an interview cut-off around 220.
