I really want to match into EMED:

STEP 1: 219
STEP 2 CK: 232

My STEP 2 score was just released today.... is it good enough to match? I'm worried that my scores are just average.

You'll likely be fine depending on the rest of your application.

I interview residency applicants and advise medical students going into EM. I think you should be able to match with those scores. Keep in mind, scores are just one part of the overall applicant profile.

Last cycle, I had a slightly worse step 1 and slightly better step 2, applied to 43 schools in the northeast and south, interviewed at 13, and matched (not at one of my top choices, but still a place I know I'll get good training at). I did one away rotation and in retrospect wish I did two because I think with our scores, you really need to prove yourself that much more. Good luck and if you have any questions, PM me.

Your scores are average, but average matches. Apply to many programs and you should be fine if the rest of your app is good.
