Guys I know that american grads can apply with step 1 and step 2 CS only ,,,,
but as an IMG can I apply with step 1 and step CS as well or I have to take step 2 CK before I apply ,,cuz I am really happy with my step 1 score 😕

There are no rules to my knowledge about this...EVERYONE needs to apply with a Step 1 score...then it's up to the applicant what else they include (CK, CS, Step 3 if applicable)...however, I dont know if this rule translates to IMG, but I assume it does?

anyone else have thoughts on this?

You can always apply, that does not mean you will get interviews if your application is not as complete as possible. When you are and IMG it is a totally different ballgame.

I know its different if I am an IMG and it is very tough,,,but I heard from guys in the forum saying that "if you are happy with your step 1 score , just apply with it and step 2 CS and take step 2 CK later " , So shall I go with that or I should take my step 2 CK before September ?

That applies to American grads. I would think that an IMG would need more than a good Step 1 score to get an interview. I may be wrong though. Maybe some IMGs who have matched can chime in.

Is Step 3 required for a complete application for IMG? Would it make my application more favorable?
