Got my e-mail at 10:55 and the actual score at 11:05 (passed!). Took mine in Houston. I think the release is random.
Also, waiting for this test was in some ways scarier than for Step 1. At least with Step 1 you have UWSA/NBMEs to give you some idea of how you'd do, and it was only a 3 week wait.

Results received: August 12th, 2015. PASSED.
Attempt: First attempt.
Prep time: One month.
Received email 7:00am today!

Results came back today: Passed with all sections in Higher Performance.
Prep time: 2 full days (15-16 hours total)
Prep material: FA Step 2 CS book (glanced at it), more importantly read the official NBME booklet on the website and watched the video

Took it June 25th in LA
Didn't prep with another student at all. Just read first aid 1.5 times.
Was scared I failed and the fact that I paid over 2200 for the trip out to LA
But I passed

This thing is scary! I prepped really well, and I was still in the borderline. Still have no clue what got me there, but maybe I could have done a better job with the physical exams or been more thorough with the exams. I felt like my notes were excellent though.
