Step 2 cs results reported?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Nope, nothing yet. But I found this on their website "Over the past 4 years, results for 98%-99% of examinees who take the exam during the testing period were reported by the third Wednesday in a Reporting Period."

Passed! what a stressful wait, didn't sleep last night. I just want to say that for anybody taking or waiting on this test, man there are a whole lot of things you can do wrong and still pass..believe that

DONE another test.

I had a dream a few days ago that I got my score back and it would say PASSED (with the following requirement- Something like 2 weeks of phone patient training courses).

Good thing the real one did not have that.

Congrats to those who passed! I took mine late in the testing period (7/13), and so far nothing (I've been obsessively checking all morning). Do they send out an email or did you just check the NBME website?

I took it same day and got an email this morning and score posted online.

Took mine 7/7, just got my score (don't know how some people got it so early this morning). I passed-but, what is with this grid at the bottom? Not such a great performance on "information sharing skills" and not a super high performance on "spoken english performance." I am an AMG and I have been speaking english my whole life, what gives?

Passed CS WooHoo! I know some people say whatever this test is so easy blah blah, but my heart was pounding as I was waiting for the page to open. I studied for 2 weeks few hours a day and practiced writing the notes. Oh and if anyone is wondering I hand wrote my notes bc I'm not a super fast typer, but I can write a whole page in like 5 minutes. The exam is switching to all typed notes soon though. Good luck to anyone who is waiting for their score or about to take it 🙂now here's to waiting for my ck result...praying 🙂
After an entire 3 month wait... I passed!

I don't know what is wrong with the evaluating systems for spoken English proficiency?! Not surprised though, my wife who's born and lived in US all her life got English as a second language in high school 😕?!!!!!

I got the same in ''spoken Englsih Profromance''. Does that matter though if we didn't get high performance in all areas that are tested, I mean from a Program Director's point of view, as long it is a pass?

Finally got my email at about 1045 EDT and score released at 11 am. I passed! I'm so happy! I don't have to fly back east ever again!!!!!!

Two thoughts:

1. Yes, this is an insanely long wait for an exam. Even though most people pass, it is still so damn subjective, and there's no good way to do mock exams to see how you're doing. My condolences to anyone who is currently waiting for their score.

2. I got the same thing on the spoken English Proficiency. It was definately above average, but you'd expect someone born and raised in the US who grew up speaking English to have a little * by that too. As for the information sharing skills (my lowest) I think that's mainly because we all run out of time at the end of each patient encounter.

Congrats to those who passed, and my condolences for those still waiting for scores!

Actually, from what I understand, no one can see that breakdown except for us. All the program director will know is that you passed it.

I still think it is crazy that I didn't get a "high performance" on my English speaking skills. Although, from other comments about CS, I am not surprised about the information sharing skills.

It is difficult to properly evaluate English language... but you guys and gals should practice speaking English 😉
