Does anyone know when do NBME release the outcomes of this stupid test. I am from Jan 1- Feb 28 window....and the release date can be anywhere from Apr 1 - Apr 28 or so ....when do people typically get the results? Is still only on wednesdays? or can it be any day and we just have to wait the whole damn month? What has been experience of people who have already gottent heir results?

Can't even book by plane tickets before I get the results to this test.... so frustrating?

Just got my score 30 minutes ago. Ironically, CS and CK arrived together (CK took >5 weeks for me).

I took the annoying CS exam on Feb. 4 in Atlanta, and I attend an East coast med school if that helps.

I took CS March 11th but haven't heard anything. The website said end of April. Were they CK or CS results?

Sorry! I meant he took the CS on FEBRUARY 13th in LA. Got his result today.

RRP - sorry to hear the news. I dont think you are screwed for residency. But you do need to arrange to take it again. I would check with your med school as to what their requirements are.

Go drink tonight. Then tomorrow look at your scores and try to figure out what your weak areas were.

Make sure you look over First Aid before taking it again. Practice with some friends to make sure you are good at doing an H&P in 15 mins including counceling, which I dont thin we get to do a lot of in med school.

It sucks because it is such a what am I thinking test, and I have no idea what they are looking for. I passed, but there were definitely things I didnt do that I should have (telling a pt to quit smoking), and questions and PE maneuvers that I forgot to do. And tests I didnt know if I should or shouldnt order. Its such a frustrating experience and it has to be even more frustrating for you!!!!!!!

Yeah I had looked over FA slightly, didn't realize we had to be so in depth with this damn test. Thanks for the encouragement though.

Anybody else waiting for results tonight? I was pretty cocky going in and though I did alright if not brilliantly coming out. I am now worried about arrogance coming back to bite me in the ass. The delay has be a little freaked out.


Edit: Passed. Whew. Looks like a score delay does not mean a fail.
