Since I am waiting for my score still, I thought I would ask for some opinions on my Step 2cs. I spoke with two classmates who took the exam with me, and I unfortunately made much more errors than they did. We are all american IMGs.

All of my differentials were fairly good, but for 2 cases I missed the main diagnosis. For 3 other cases, I had the most likely diagnosis, but missed an obvious differential. So thats 5 cases that differentials were off (wow that seems huge).

My physical exams were lacking. I missed an entire HEENT exam on a cough patient, and an entire Neuro exam on a pre-syncope patient (ran out of time). For a joint pain case, I only did gait and ROM, no specific exams for the joint or adjacent joints. There's also smaller random things I forgot, like a PMI or fundoscopic exam, etc.

I think my patient notes were decent though. I always finished them, I tried to throw in supporting evidence. I followed SOCRATES for my history, and always got the FH, SH, and PMH.

My two classmates are trying to convince me I didn't do too bad, but compared to them I really messed up the ICE. What do you guys think. Does anyone got errors as bad as me?

Bump.

Anybody? There are lots of knowledgeable people of this forum. Hopefully someone can give some input. Thanks in advance.

It's really hard to say. People have done better than you and failed. People have done worse than you and have passed. Only your score report can tell you how you did. If you're looking for solace, I suggest just reading other experiences and comparing them with yours.

I'd refrain from doing that. It will only freak you out.

My advice: crack open a cold beer and relax; there is nothing you can do about your exam now but wait and see the results.

ya, i would relax. you just have to pass right? and like almost everyone passes. no one was asking you to be perfect on this exam.
