Ok, so there have been a few posts regarding correlations between practice exam scores and step 2. Most of these posts have been written by people who scored very highly. This is not one of those posts. Instead I aim to give some insight to those who were wondering what they need to do in order to pass. Here are my numbers:

My score: 195/80
qbank: 61% (48-78)
nms: 59% (only did about 200 of the questions, and skipped the rediculous matching at the end)
released items: 75%.

Ok so there you have it; if you are scared s***less like I was, then you can relax a little bit if you are getting these numbers on your practice tests. Hope this helps. And remember, P=MD (or DO)

i took it early/mid-december. i figured that way if i did poorly, i could tell interviewers that i had taken it already but was still waiting on scores. besides, i wanted to get it over with while i still had some motivation. 😉

Does anyone here recommend getting Kaplan's MedPass ($999)? I have Boards and Wards, and I was planning on using QBank. Is the additional set of study guides necessary?
