Step 2 pass rate

Does anyone know what the pass rate for COMLEX step 2 is? Is it usually lower than the pass rate for step 1? IN my school we had way more failures for step 2 than we did for step 1. So I'm wondering if that's normal

Pass rates dropped from low 90's to 80's after change in 2009.

Ok, thanks. My school had > 25 failures from what I'm told on step 2 and that would put us around the 85% pass rate for step 2. I hear the class of 2011 had worse scores. I've even heard of one person who dropped 200 points in my class from step 1 and still managed to pass (barely) and I was just wondering if that was the norm.

My step 2 went up 45 points. It seems that the overall average is somewhat higher.

See mine went up almost 50 points, but aside from 2 other people in my class I haven't heard of scores going up. Most have gone down.

If you study... you'll do the same or better than level 1...

People blow it off and give it no effort, living the high life on rotations then bomb the test and say WHAAAAAT?

Oh I'm not worried about step 2. I took it and did better than step 1. I was just curious on the stats regarding step 2

you must study during rotations and use your shelf results as a guide...if you are doing mediocre on the shelfs that that means you need to crack the books or will do poorly on COMLEX part 2
