Hi all -
I am scheduled to take step 2 at the end of september and am ready to start studying. Am planning on doing q bank questions for one month, but would appreciate any feedback about question books and study guides for step 2 that all of you found helpful - didn't do great on step 1 and want to do better on step 2.
thanks!

there's plenty of stuff on this everywhere, but personally....

Q bank
Crush Step II--- solid on key words/light on Ob/gyn and peds
NMS question book--- just take a test each weekend and look at answers
Re-read Peds notes
Re-read Ob/GYN notes from Blue Prints.

Nice thing is that this is more like reviewing things you already know as opposed to Step I where I felt like I was re-learning everything for the first time. Even though I feel like I know my s--t better than when I started studying, I'm still getting the same avg's on Q bank and NMS.

Agree with the above post

OB/GYN bluprints is the absolute gold standard for USMLE 2. Awesome book. Had 35-40 questions, and at this time I think I got every one correct.

I really liked MKSAP for the general medicine type questions.

This is definately the test where you need to do thousands of questions and learn through that method. By the 100th time your asked what test you should run after a certain DX... it just sticks.
