hey everyone! according to the new ecfmg announcement those who need their results before sept 24th need to the exam NO LATER THAN JULY 28TH.. so does that mean if someone takes their exam on 28th july will they receive their ck results in the usual 3-4 weeks period?? just wanna be sure !!

Good day all, they say it is recommended to take your test by Monday 28th of July, 2014. I had inadvertently booked a date for 30th of July which is still before the 31st. Does this mean that I get my result on the 24th of September, because that would really suck. Its a Wednesday and I expect the result to be back in three weeks. Can anyone help clarify this vagueness?

Steth, it's a little more complicated? Tests taken on the 28th seem to be guaranteed to have the third Wednesday. Between 29-31, it's hard to say--it's the window period, so to say. After the 31st, it's going to be on Sept 24.
I was booked for the 29th and because I wanted to avoid the confusion, I moved mine to the 28th. I'd recommend you do the same if this is a concern for you.

I mean it says "a delay in reporting for most examinees on or after July 31st". Their recommendation for those who want their scores in before the delay to take it "no later than July 28th".
But hey--good idea--better safe than sorry. There isn't any testing on Sundays at centers near me...else I'd have tried for that. I still think I got lucky that a spot opened up near me because all twenty centers near me are booked through September.
