Step 2 strategy question

Hello,

I'm beginning my step 2 preparation and getting an arsenal of books together. I'm wondering if it's better to hand=pick a bunch of individual books such as Crush, Boards and Wards, Swanson FP, etc...or if I'd be better off getting the Kaplan set and just using that alone. I really need to get a plan installed here as I really need to do well on this test. I'd appreciate any knowlegable advice on this matter. Any additional tips would be appreciated as well.

are you talking comlex or usmle???

I'll be taking both COMLEX and USLMLE. I need to do well on both.
