Step 2 time to study

How long do I need to study for step 2 and then the CS portion? I have in mind to use about 2 1/2 weeks for step 2 (I will have just finished internal med) and then about 1 day for CS before I take it. I want to get it over with but I also want to do well.

I think 2 1/2 weeks for the CK test is perfect. 1 day is fine for CS, although I took a few days to get through First Aid for CS and learn it well. First Aid is a really good book for CS in my opinion!

2-3 weeks for step 2 is ideal. 1 day is enough for CS. good luck.
