Can anyone help me on this... I just received my Step 2 score and I was wondering if I should send it to SF Match as a supplemental document (USMLE score reports are noted on their website to be considered "approved" material that can be distributed). My question for applicants in the past is, how did you handle this situation-- did you go through SF Match do just faxed it to each program department (where you receieved interviews at least)?

on that note, is it advisable to update our application with our AOA notification letter? Or is it not useful now that Dean's letter's are out, and AOA status is on the dean's letter?

If it's in the Dean's letter, then you should be good to go. However, to be safe, I'd update your application because less than 1/3 of applicants are AOA! So this is a big deal.

Good job!

I found sending it into SF match and then not doing anything else to be a nightmare, most programs didn't have the score. Buy some official transcripts and take them along. During the interview ask if they have obtained the updated score, if not, hand them your copy. I'm not sure if this mess was the SFmatch, the programs, or a combination - it's feeding frenzy out there trying to get supplemental information sent to programs.

I agree with this...
The copies don't even necessarily have to be official, but make sure you bring copies with you to your interviews. Make sure they get added to your file and if each interviewer has a different copy of your file make sure that each interviewer gets a copy of your new and improved score.
Good luck
