I stayed at an "Extended Stay Hotel" 2 miles from the airport for $55. All rooms have a kitchen with pots and pans. Wasn't the cleanest of places, but for one night it was not bad. I did priceline to get this good of price. Good luck

I stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn. Great if you took the train or shuttle in because it's a 5 minute walk to the test center. There's a really nice full breakfast and it's a very nice hotel. It was around $100 +tax with the AOA discount. It was worth it to me to have a nice place and get a good night's sleep.
